Play:Ground presents a conceptual playground where abstraction, feminism, and joy collide through form, colour, and collaboration.

Undone ARI presents ‘Play:Ground’ a collaborative exhibition by emerging artists Renee Kire and Sunday Jemmott that reimagines the Ipswich Community Gallery as a lively conceptual playground centred on play, experimentation, and joyful discovery. Curated by Amy Jane, the exhibition challenges traditional artistic boundaries and invites new modes of creative inquiry through dynamic combinations of installation, sculpture, and painting. By activating playful aesthetics through vibrant immersive environments, Play:Ground encourages curiosity, trial, and exploration as vital artistic processes. The exhibition highlights how play can disrupt conventions, reclaim space, and open new ways of experiencing art – inviting audiences to move freely between joy and critical reflection.

Join Undone ARI artists Renee Kire and Sunday Jemmott for a drop-in Trinket Keychain Workshop, on Sunday 28 September, from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Visitors will create their own playful keychains, inspired by the exhibition's forms and themes.
