Works from the Collection focusses on large scale works from the second half of the 20th century held within the Ipswich Art Gallery Collection.

Featuring Davida Allen’s Archibald Prize-winning portrait of her father-in-law, this exhibition also includes works by Michael Shannon, Sybil Curtis, George Gittoes and more.

The Ipswich Art Gallery Collection brings together artworks and objects which demonstrate meaningful social and cultural interactions between the artist, their environment and their cultural background as well as historical and significant objects relating to Ipswich heritage.
