This selection of printed cards, lithographs and early panoramic photography documents the urban and rural landscapes of the region in the mid-1800s to early 1900s.
The exhibition captures an emergent and prosperous town, driven by industry and its rail yards, as well as significant landmarks from Ipswich and its surrounds. Revisit a city where horse drawn carriages made their way through the centre of town, and compare well-known heritage icons with the changing face of Ipswich today.
