Revisit a city where horse drawn carriages made their way through the centre of town, and compare well-known heritage icons with the changing face of Ipswich today.

This selection of printed cards, lithographs and early panoramic photography documents the urban and rural landscapes of the region in the mid to late 1800s. The exhibition captures an emergent and prosperous town, driven by industry and its rail yards, as well as significant landmarks from Ipswich and its surrounds.
