Silk + Squeeg
Silk + Squeeg is a small, independent screen-printing business run by Vanja Ristovski. Beginning in a friend’s basement, Vanja grew the business through word of mouth by reaching out to local bands. As word started to travel, the business grew and now operates in Albion.
Silk + Squeeg is the meeting of analogue and digital mediums. All our art goes through a digital process to separate colours and refine lines. It is then transferred to a silk screen, where a squeegee pushes ink through the stencil for a pressure sensitive transfer. All our prints are made with care.
Where is the Ipswich Art Workshop?
Based in d’Arcy Doyle Place, next door to the Ipswich Community Gallery, Ipswich Art Workshop is a vibrant, community-led space where local creatives share their talents.
It's a hub for creativity, collaboration, and studio space for artists to inspire and be inspired!
