Join the Friends of the Ipswich Art Gallery for a light brunch and tour of the Iconic Australian Houses exhibition with curator Karen McCartney.

Karen is best known for her work in the world of interiors, architecture, design and home wares, as editor for marie claire lifestyle, Inside Out magazine and more recently as editorial director of award-winning Temple & Webster blog.

Iconic Australian Houses presents a behind-the-scenes exploration of 30 of the most important Australian homes of the past 60 years, designed by some remarkable architects including Harry Seidler, Neville Gruzman, and Ken Woolley.

The exhibition is on show daily until Sunday 18 November 2018.

Iconic Australian Houses is a travelling exhibition from Sydney Living Museums. The exhibition is supported by exhibition partner Architecture Foundation Australia, principal partner Stormtech and sponsors the NSW Architecture Registration Board and the University of Newcastle. This project has been assisted by the Australian Government’s Visions of Australia program.
