Join local artist Tim Acutt in an up-late 4-part workshop series learning clay hand-building techniques and processes in the Ipswich Art Gallery Clay Studio!
Guided by Tim’s expert knowledge of clay, participants will see through the ceramics process and come away with some newly fired and glazed pieces to add to their very own ceramics collection.
What you will get:
Freedom to complete projects using techniques explored in class
(Slab built box / coil pot / pinch pot / slab plate / freeform sculpture / hand-built cup)
All materials and clay provided and firing service
What to bring:
Please wear closed in footwear and clay friendly clothing.
You are welcome to bring your own favourite modelling tools should you wish.
Skill Level: This workshop is suitable for beginners.
