This School holidays, families and children in Ipswich can experience a range of exciting free hands-on art-making activities by artist Vipoo Srivilasa.
This free program invites visitors to explore emotions through different activities such as dancing, drawing and digital media to create works that express thoughts, ideas and feeling.
Artist Vipoo Srivilasa is a Thai-born, Melbourne-based ceramic artist who is interested in installation and audience participation.
Vipoo likes to make work that is beautiful, fun and adds a smile to people’s faces. He often incorporates flowers and imaginary characters in his practice.
Positivity, beauty and accessibility are important elements of his work, and he is particularly known for creating ceramic characters covered in flowers, called ‘flower bears’.
This exhibition-inspired art activity encourages visitors to consider the spectrum of human emotion with curiosity and an open mind.
